This session will discuss communication sampling, an alternative to natural language sampling that specifically acknowledges and considers communicative intent of non-speech acts. It will briefly review methodologies for collecting multimodal communication samples as well as reviewing primary outcome measures to consider and report as part of communication sampling assessment.
