Drag to resize
You have probably heard the term “emergent writing” in recent years in many different forums. Historically, students with complex learning needs have writing experiences that are limited, splintered, or non-existent. Join Kelly as she follows up on the Scribbling session from last year's conference and takes you into those next steps of supporting your child/student(s) in generating writing for meaning. She'll give examples of strategies and tools that assist you in supporting your budding writers as to WHY they would write, HOW they can write & ideas of all the places WHERE writing can take place. The WHAT is up to them!
