Using Language Experience Books to Foster Early Literacy Skills
Language experience books are a meaningful and fun way to introduce young children with disabilities to books that are of special interest to them. They can be used to foster early language and reading skills. They can easily be made at school or in the home by parents or early intervention practitioners. Books can be constructed in a range of ways, from no-tech to high-tech versions.
